Testbed Engerwitzdorf

This second testbed is located in a rural area of Austria named Engerwitzdorf. Engerwitzdorf is a perfect example of a typical rural community that can be found next to big cities in Europe with approximately 8000 inhabitants and 2500 households. From the technical point of view it is the only IPTV based testbed in the project where the CITIZEN MEDIA IPTV applications are implemented and should be tested with approximately 100 test households.

The CITIZEN MEDIA IPTV application offers the users the possibility to:

Create their personal profiles
Upload user-generated photos from the mobile phone and the internet to the IPTV-platform
Upload user-generated videos from the internet to the IPTV platform
Present their user generated content to all other test households via a TV screen
Provide additional functions like the rating and commenting of uploaded content
