Testbed Oslo

The third testbed is situated in Norway, with an emphasis on Oslo with approximately 560 000 inhabitants. In 2007, 75% of the inhabitants in Oslo and Akershus (Oslo's neighbouring county) had home-access to broadband Internet (Statistics Norway, 2008). The Oslo testbed consists of an online pool of participants, who are invited to take part in online surveys. Additionally, users are invited to take part in offline walkthroughs and focus-groups. The Oslo testbed has been used for user evaluations of CITIZEN MEDIA-like applications and will be used to evaluate a web-based CITIZEN MEDIA application.
