For over 160 years Antwerp Zoo's enchanting setting has boasted over 800 animal species from all over the world. Any visitor will be impressed by the Zoo's majestic and magnificent 19th century architecture and the design of its numerous gardens, plantings and pathways which have been landscaped to respect for the Zoo's inhabitants and their habitat.
It is in this inspiring environment that the 3rd FP7 Networked Media Concertation Meeting will take place on Monday 27 April and on Tuesday 28 April. To enter the Flanders Congress Concert Centre you have to enter the Zoo of Antwerp. At the entrance you need to show a copy of the invitation to the concertation meeting (e-mail you received from the commission dated XYZ please register asap to Maria-Cristina.Marinescu@ec.europa.eu).
Meeting place, hotels, parking, shops, restaurants, etc. are all very close to the newly restored central railway station were you will arrive by taxi, train, bus or car.
To travel to Antwerp you have different options: car, train and air. From Amsterdam or Paris you have direct high speed train connections. From London and Mancherter you have a direct flight to Antwerp Airport. From most European cities there is a direct flight connection to Brussels Airport around 45 km from the city of Antwerp. Several options exist to go from Brussels Airport to Antwerp city.
